Pretoria region · representative photograph, not this specific trail

Hennops Picnic Spot sits next to the Hennops River on the same farm as the hiking and mountain-bike trails, about 30km from Pretoria and Fourways on the R511 toward Hartbeespoort. The operator lists two swimming pools, ablution facilities, ample braai stands and the “Famous Suspension Bridge” first built in 1932. The picnic gate opens at 09:00 and closes at 17:00. Entrance is R100 per adult and R50 per schoolchild, paid at the day-hikers reception; that fee also includes hiking and mountain biking. There is no shop, restaurant or kiosk — bring your own chairs, tables and food. No pets and no music. The site can close after rainy-season flooding on the low-water vehicle bridge. This is Hennops Hiking & MTB Trails, not Hennops Pride or Hennops River Hiking Trail.
