Hiking trails in the West Coast
West Coast listings here sit inside West Coast National Park, about 90 minutes north of Cape Town — the same place people search as West Coast Nature Reserve. SANParks publishes the trail list: circular day walks from Geelbek Information Centre (7km or 9km), the 4.6km Bakoor Trail from the Langebaan gate to Seeberg, and two flower-season routes in the Postberg section that are only open in August and September.
We do not invent SANParks conservation fees. Check the park rates page before you drive. Pets are not permitted. The Strandveld overnight walk and Eve's Trail (a separate guided product) are not listed yet — accommodation for Strandveld is not bundled with the trail, and Eve's Trail is booked through the Cape West Coast Biosphere Reserve, not as a walk-up SANParks day hike.
