Hiking trails in Kogelberg
Kogelberg listings follow CapeNature's reserve page. Palmiet River Walk is the easy 10km, three-hour river day. Oudebosch–Harold Porter is a 6km one-way into the botanical garden (or turn back at the waterfall). The Kogelberg Trail is 24km and about eight hours. Three Sisters is 8km from Kleinmond Golf Course and needs no permit. Rooisand Ramble is closed until further notice.
Day-hike permits for the reserve-office walks are sold at the office or on 087 087 8250. The official page has shown more than one day-access tariff — confirm before you drive. Parking at the reserve is limited and first-come. No cellphone reception after the gravel turn-off from the R44. Closed shoes required. Picnic facilities are not provided.
