SANParks lists the Postberg Hiking Trail as a two-day, one-night route open only in August and September. Hikers start and finish at Tsaarsbank and overnight in their own tents at Plankiesbaai. Day one is 15.5km (about six hours); day two is 11.8km (about 3.5 hours). Maximum 12 people. Book in advance — bookings open in June — through Geelbek Information Centre on 022 707 9902/3 or 022 772 2144. Arrive at Tsaarsbank at 09:00 and show the permit. Water is only at the gate and at Plankiesbaai. SANParks calls the trail strenuous. Pets are not permitted. We do not copy a tariff here.
