Newlands Ravine

The Twelve Apostles mountain range above the Atlantic seaboard, Cape Town
Cape Town region · representative photograph, not this specific trail

Newlands Ravine climbs from the Newlands Forest floor toward the saddle between Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak. It is a hard, technical gorge, not a casual forest stroll and not the SANParks picnic site. SANParks does not publish an official kilometre or hour figure for this climb, so we do not invent one. Neighbouring Dark Gorge is for experienced scramblers only and is not listed here. Confirm current conditions on the TMNP pages before you go.
