Newlands Forest picnic and braai area

SANParks lists Newlands as one of Table Mountain National Park’s picnic and braai areas: a shaded forest site, separate from the surrounding walking trails. Alcohol, dogs and music are prohibited in TMNP picnic braai areas, and braaing is often banned in high wind. Confirm the current Newlands conservation fee on the SANParks TMNP rates page — we do not copy a rand figure. A Wild Card or TMNP My Green Card covers this pay point. Dogs on the surrounding trails still need a My Activity permit.
