Johannesburg City Parks lists Kloofendal as a 128-hectare fenced reserve in the Roodepoort suburb of Kloofendal, open every day including public holidays from 06:00 to 18:00, with a security guard on duty. Official facilities: stone amphitheatre with picnic and ablution, walking trails of various distances (JCPZ walking-trails page: 30 minutes to 3 hours), and a dam with a hide.
