City of Tshwane lists an informal picnic spot at Faerie Glen Nature Reserve. No braais — picnics only. No alcohol, no gazebos. Same entrance, hours and tariff as the hiking listing: January Masilela Drive, gate 06:00–18:00, last entry 17:00, cashless, adults R23 from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. Dogs need a leash and a permit issued at the cashier. Groups larger than 20 must book. Phone 012 358 1510. This is not a separate cheaper picnic gate and not a braai camp.
