Bothongo Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve is a private reserve at 520 Kromdraai Road, Krugersdorp — Cradle of Humankind, not a Johannesburg City Parks walk. Official buy-ticket page: self-drive adults R360 (includes conservation fee), kids 5–12 R220, pensioners R280; picnic spots and pools are included in that ticket. Guided Savannah Trails: 120 minutes, adults R500, kids 12–17 and pensioners R420, minimum 4 people. Hours: Monday closed; Tuesday–Friday 08:00–17:00; Saturday 08:00–18:00; Sunday 08:00–17:00; public holidays 08:00–18:00. Official terms: do not bring live animals. Phone 011 957 0349.
