Grassed picnic lawns at the entrance to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, shaded by mature trees with views up to Table Mountain's back table. Popular for the Sunday summer concerts. Official visitor page (2026–27): South African and SADC adults R110 with ID; cash is not accepted. Garden open 08:00–19:00 September–March and 08:00–18:00 April–August. Pets are not permitted.
