Groot Constantia doesn't run an independent bring-your-own picnic site; instead, its on-site restaurants (Jonkershuis and Simon's) supply picnic baskets that guests then enjoy on the estate's lawns. Jonkershuis asks for picnic bookings by email (reservations@jhuis.co.za) with at least 24 hours' notice — not via Dineplan. The estate itself is dog-friendly on lead along its designated paths. Confirm current basket prices with the restaurant before you go.
