Cape Town region · representative photograph, not this specific trail

Company's Garden is Cape Town's oldest public garden, dating back to the Dutch East India Company's original vegetable garden on the site. It's free to enter, with shaded oak avenues, open lawns and a dog-friendly café. Following past pickpocketing and mugging incidents, safety kiosks have been added at the entrances; normal daytime urban caution is generally advised.
