“Tsitsikamma hiking trails” usually means the Storms River Mouth cluster inside Garden Route National Park. If you searched Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve, that is this same SANParks section. Distances below come from that official trail list, not from a third-party app.
Mouth Trail — suspension bridges
Storms River Mouth Trail: 2km, about one hour. Boardwalk and stairs from the rest camp to the bridges across the river mouth. Easy by mountain standards; the stairs back up are the work. This is the walk people mean by “Storms River Mouth” after a N2 stop.
Waterfall Trail — first stretch of the Otter
Tsitsikamma Waterfall Trail: 6km, about three hours return. Rocky shoreline, some scrambling, tide-sensitive. It is a day hike on the opening kilometres of the Otter, not a way to sneak the full trail without a permit.
Otter Trail — five days, booked
Otter Trail: 42km, five days from Storms River Mouth to Nature's Valley. Read the Otter Trail guide for booking contacts. Do not arrive expecting a walk-up start.
Fees, dogs, other Tsitsikamma names
Conservation fees sit on SANParks' Garden Route rates page. We do not paste a rand amount that will be wrong next season. Dogs are not allowed on these park walks.
SANParks also lists Blue Duiker, Loerie, Plaatbos and other Tsitsikamma walks. They are not on Hikeza yet because we have not confirmed current access the same way. West along the Garden Route, Robberg Nature Reserve is CapeNature, not SANParks — three circular peninsula trails from a Plettenberg Bay gate.
