Read this before you mix picnic and hike
The live page sells day-hike permits at R55 adult / R35 child and names the trails below. The same page says hiking trails are for campers, not picnickers. Tweede Tol picnic is a separate booked day site (08:00–18:00). Confirm which permit you hold.
Official named trails
- Bobbejaans River — 8km, about six hours. Gate code; book 48 hours ahead.
- Happy Valley — 9km, about six hours, from Eerste Tol.
- Krom River — 7km, about five hours, Huguenot Tunnel Worcester exit.
- Eland River — 7km, about five hours, same tunnel parking.
- Rockhopper — 8km, about six hours, Eerste Tol to Tweede Tol. Linear; two cars.
No pets. Alcohol is not permitted. Tweede Tol entrance: 3.2 m height restriction; vehicles inspected. Office 08:00–16:00. Tweede Tol 087 087 4145. Bookings 087 087 8250.
Not the same as
