Trails — use the live map

The official trails page says walks are self-guided with colour-coded markers, and that the live online map replaces printed copies, which are outdated. We do not republish an old colour-and-time table. Open the map on kknr.org.za/trails before you go, and again at the gate.

No bicycles anywhere in the reserve. No dogs or other pets. No alcohol. Day visits only — no overnight or camping. Swimming in rivers is not recommended (bilharzia). Emergency number on the official page: 031 941 4070. Enquiries go through the website form; they do not take phone bookings and the WhatsApp line has been discontinued.
