Krantzkloof Nature Reserve in Kloof is an Ezemvelo-managed gorge reserve with self-guided walks, viewpoints and waterfalls. Official site (kknr.org.za): enter 06:00–13:00, leave by 18:00. No bookings and no reserved space. Adults (12+) R70, children under 12 R35 — fee effective 1 July 2025. Card or Ezemvelo Rhino Card only; cash and SANParks Wild Card are not accepted. Entry is via the Kloof Falls Road gate only. Parking and picnic space are limited; parking on the road verge is not permitted. Open 365 days including public holidays, but access can close on wet days and gorge-bottom trails stay closed in rain. Walks use colour-coded markers — use the live online map; printed maps are outdated. No dogs or other pets. No bicycles. No alcohol. No overnight stays.
