“Chapman's Peak hike” is a SANParks-signed climb from the Hout Bay side of the drive, not a stroll between the road lookouts. Hikeza uses the Chapman's Peak Drive trail page for distance and access. Table Mountain summit routes are a different day.

The hike
Chapman's Peak Hiking Trail is just over 5km return, about three hours including a picnic stop, to the 593m beacon. The path climbs a ravine on rock steps, meets a junction toward Noordhoek (keep right for the peak), then a short scramble to the top. Views run to Fish Hoek and across Noordhoek Valley as well as Hout Bay.
Park at the last checkpoint before the main viewpoint. The SANParks signpost is at the lower end of that parking area. Ask for a Day Pass at the Hout Bay tollgate and check current Day Pass hours on the drive site before you leave. TMNP emergency number published on that page: 086 110 6417.
