Official day trails
From CapeNature’s 2025 brochure and the reserve page:
- Galjoen Trail — 12km beach walk, about four hours. Inaccessible at spring high tide.
- Bush Pig Trail — 6.5km circular, two to three hours.
- Porcupine Trail — 13.5km, four to five hours. Arrange return transport from Groenvlei.
- Cape Clawless Otter Trail — 6.5km flat out-and-back along Groenvlei.
- Blombos Trail — long 15km, medium 13km, short 6.5km.
- Buffalo Bay Trail — 4.2km circular through forest and coastal vegetation.
Brochure gate times: 08:00–18:00. Reserve-page office hours: 07:30–16:00. Live day access R60 adult / R40 child — confirm if the tariff year has rolled. Picnic at designated spots. No pets.
