Blaauwberg Nature Reserve is a 1,445-hectare City of Cape Town reserve at Eerste Steen Resort, Otto du Plessis Drive (M14), north of Bloubergstrand. Official 1 July 2026–30 June 2027 cashless tariff: vehicles R20, adults R20, children 3–17 / students / seniors R15, under 3 and Friends free. Coastal section open sunrise to sunset daily. Eerste Steen braai and picnic: November–April 08:00–19:00; May–October 08:00–17:00. City hiking-trail maps: a marked 1km or 2km walk (about 30–60 minutes) and a 4.4km coastal trail (about 1.5 hours).
